In order to ensure the implementation of the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 5, 2026, No. PP-1 "On Additional Measures Aimed at Implementing a Unified Targeted Work System in the Direction of Creating a Safe Environment in Mahallas of the Republic" and No. PP-2 "On Organizational Measures to Further Increase the Effectiveness of Early Crime Prevention in Mahallas of the Republic in 2026," the Law Enforcement Academy has established the activities of a working group in mahallas based on the principle of "scientific conclusion - recommendation - result."
The working group is conducting a comprehensive analysis of the main causes and factors influencing the criminogenic situation in mahallas, the conditions contributing to the commission of crimes, as well as existing social and domestic problems.
In particular, members of the working group visited the mahallas of the cities of Angren and Almalyk of the Tashkent region and, based on scientific approaches, studied the issues of timely detection and prevention of offenses and crimes.
In particular, studies were conducted in the "Ozodlik," "Appartak," "Yangiobod," and "Buston" mahallas of the city of Angren, where issues of timely detection and prevention of offenses and crimes were discussed with the participation of responsible employees and mahalla activists.
Specialists analyzed crimes committed on the territory of the mahalla, thoroughly studied the causes of offenses, measures to prevent them, and the processes of working with persons registered for preventive measures. Based on the results of the study, a number of proposals and recommendations were developed to improve the criminogenic situation, increase the effectiveness of preventive work, and ensure public safety in the mahalla.
Also, discussions were held with relevant officials on crimes that could have been prevented in the mahallas "A.Navoi," "M.Ulugbek," "Temur Malik," and "Hamza" of the city of Almalyk, and targeted proposals aimed at improving the legal culture of the population were developed.
The conclusions and proposals developed by the Academy's specialists based on the daily analysis of the criminogenic situation in the region serve to create a safe environment in mahallas and further increase the effectiveness of the crime prevention system.
