Issues of Psychological Preparedness of Law Enforcement Officers Discussed at the Academy


At the Law Enforcement Academy, a roundtable discussion titled “Psychological Preparedness of Law Enforcement Officers in Creating a Safe Environment in the Mahallas and Enhancing the Effectiveness of Early Crime Prevention” was organized at the initiative of the Department of Professional Psychology and Management Activities.

The event was attended by representatives of the Academy of the State Security Service, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of Public Security, the Customs Institute, and the Central Office of the Internal Affairs Bodies.

During the roundtable, participants discussed advanced methods for assessing and developing soft skills in the training of modern law enforcement personnel, organizational matters related to the establishment of the scientific and practical journal “Legal Psychology,” as well as issues concerning the assessment of managerial competencies and the introduction of Assessment Center technology into practice.

The discussions particularly emphasized the importance of scientifically grounded evaluation of professional competencies, the application of psychological diagnostic tools, and the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation.

At the conclusion of the event, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation among institutions and to implement joint initiatives aimed at improving psychological preparedness.
