At the Legal Clinic of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, free legal assistance is provided to the public by students and trainees under the supervision of qualified specialists.

Currently, the Academy seeks to engage a qualified specialist to provide services in the field of free legal assistance to citizens within the Legal Clinic.

The specialist will perform the following duties:

Organizing activities within the Legal Clinic and ensuring compliance with labor and performance discipline among students and trainees;

Assigning tasks to members of the Legal Clinic and monitoring their implementation;

Taking measures to effectively implement the tasks assigned to the Legal Clinic and actively participating in the educational and methodological support of its activities;

Providing educational and methodological support for delivering free legal assistance to citizens;

Conducting seminars and training sessions with students and trainees involved in the Legal Clinic;

Organizing field training sessions for students and trainees engaged in the Legal Clinic;

Reviewing applications received through the Legal Clinic’s electronic portal under the supervision of the responsible Academy officer and organizing their distribution among professors and instructors;

Analyzing problems identified in the provision of free legal consultations and preparing proposals to address them;

Submitting proposals to improve the efficiency of the Legal Clinic and to encourage its members;

Providing practical assistance in establishing cooperation with national and international scientific and educational institutions for the development and participation in national and international grants and projects in the field of legal clinical education.

Requirements for candidates:

Higher (or incomplete higher) or secondary (or specialized secondary) education;

Age between 18 and 55;

Skills in working with modern technologies and software relevant to the field of activity;

Exemplary personal qualities as a specialist engaged in prosecutorial or related bodies;

Previous work experience and practical background in the relevant field will be considered an advantage.

Duration of employment: The contract period is set for 6 months. Depending on necessity, the candidate may subsequently be employed by the Academy under a formal employment contract.

Remuneration:
Payment will be determined by mutual agreement of the parties and will be paid based on the results of the completed work.

Personal qualities required: responsibility and professionalism, initiative, ability to work effectively in a team, and timely and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.

Working hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (40-hour working week).

Applicants must personally apply to the Academy’s Legal Department with a passport or ID card and submit the required documents (identity document, CV, diploma of higher education with transcript, copy of employment record book, TIN, and PINFL certificate). After reviewing the submitted documents, an interview with the commission may be conducted if necessary.
