Over the weekend, at the initiative of students of the Law Enforcement Academy, the "Academic Plogging" team held another ecological plogging campaign in Yunusabad district.
This event was aimed at protecting the environment, increasing ecological culture, forming an active civic position among young people, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The plogging format ensured a harmony between physical activity and activities serving the public interest.
Participants covered a distance of 3.75 kilometers and carried out work to clear areas of household waste along the route. The action was attended by employees and students of the Academy, representatives of other higher educational institutions, and active citizens. In total, more than 60 volunteers collected more than 100 waste bags, including plastic products.
The campaign demonstrated positive results in fostering a responsible attitude toward the environment, developing a culture of careful handling of public spaces, and strengthening skills in collective initiative and cooperation.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were presented with commemorative gifts prepared by the Academy's leadership.
The "Academic Plogging" team aims to continue implementing such initiatives on a systematic basis, fostering a culture of responsible attitude toward the environment and actively involving citizens in its preservation.
