The leadership of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the "10+10" forum of leading think tanks of Uzbekistan and China, held in Shanghai.
Organized under the theme "A New Stage of Uzbek-Chinese Relations: A Common Vision and a Common Future," the forum brought together leaders and experts from leading think tanks, research, and educational institutions of the two countries. Within the framework of the event, issues of further development of strategic partnership, priorities of national development, regional security and sustainable development were discussed.
The first deputy head of the Academy, Professor Evgeny Vyacheslavovich Kolenko, participated in the forum as part of the Uzbek delegation. He moderated the session on the topic "Uzbekistan and China: common approaches to development and common national priorities."
E.V. Kolenko also delivered a report within the framework of the session on "Multilateral Formats of Uzbek-Chinese Cooperation: SCO, 'One Belt, One Road,' 'China-Central Asia' Summit, and Other Platforms."
The report paid special attention to the importance of analytical approaches in jurisprudence and law enforcement activities in the context of modern challenges, scientific and expert support for legal decision-making processes, as well as improving law enforcement practice in the context of digitalization.
The Academy also presented the work being carried out to provide scientific and expert-analytical support for legal reforms, train highly qualified personnel for law enforcement agencies, implement scientific research results into practice, and develop international cooperation.
Within the framework of the forum, prospects for further development of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in the analytical, research and educational spheres, as well as issues of developing common approaches to current regional and international challenges were discussed.
The forum served as an important platform for strengthening expert dialogue, exchanging experience, and expanding cooperation between think tanks, scientific, and educational institutions of Uzbekistan and China.
