During the visit of the First Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, E.V. Kolenko, to the People's Republic of China, a series of meetings were held with the leadership of the country's leading research and analytical centers.
In particular, negotiations were held with the leadership of the Shanghai Academy under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Fudan University, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the Institute for Global Governance Studies.
During the meetings, the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Chinese relations, as well as issues of further expansion of cooperation in research, education and expert-analytical spheres were discussed.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in implementing joint research projects, organizing scientific conferences and expert seminars, developing academic and expert exchanges, and preparing analytical and scientific publications.
During the negotiations, special attention was paid to expanding cooperation in legal research, expert-analytical activities, personnel training and advanced training, the implementation of joint scientific projects, and the exchange of experience between scientific institutions.
Promising areas for scientific and expert-analytical support of legal reforms, the development of modern research methods, and the strengthening of institutional cooperation between think tanks and academic institutions were also discussed.
Following the meetings, agreements were reached on expanding cooperation between analytical and research institutions of the two countries, implementing joint initiatives and scientific projects.
These meetings are of great importance for developing research and expert-analytical cooperation in the legal sphere, exchanging experience, and further strengthening ties between the institutions of the two countries.
