Modern approaches to training law enforcement personnel were presented on the OSCE platform.

First Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Academy E.V. Kolenko participated in the meeting of the OSCE Security Committee on the topic "Using Technologies to Combat Transnational Organized Crime: Developing the Capacity of Law Enforcement Agencies in the Future" and presented the Academy's best practices in this area.

The event, held under the chairmanship of the United Kingdom in a mixed format, was attended by representatives of OSCE member states, international organizations, and the expert community.

Within the framework of the meeting, topical threats of transnational organized crime, such as cybercrime, smuggling, and the illicit trafficking of drugs and weapons, were discussed. The impact of modern technologies such as online platforms, encryption technologies, and artificial intelligence on the forms and scale of criminal activity, as well as the new tasks facing law enforcement agencies in this regard, were also considered.

The participants of the event exchanged views on the effective use of data analysis, advanced analytical tools and innovative technologies in the fight against crime, as well as strengthening cooperation between government agencies, international structures and the private sector.

In his report, E.V. Kolenko provided information on the system of training and retraining of law enforcement officers, the widespread introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, distance learning platforms, electronic educational resources, and the practical results of digital tracking mechanisms for educational trajectories.

Special attention was also paid to strengthening human resource potential for effectively combating cybercrime, integrating innovative technologies into educational programs, and increasing the practical effectiveness of the educational process.

Participation in this event once again demonstrated the active participation of the Academy in international professional dialogue, as well as the systematic work carried out to introduce modern and innovative approaches in the field of combating transnational organized crime.
