Special training courses organized by the Law Enforcement Academy for the "mahalla seven" and law enforcement officers have been completed. The classes were aimed at strengthening practical skills in the early prevention of offenses in mahallas, increasing the effectiveness of social prevention, and ensuring public safety.
In order to ensure the implementation of decrees and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at the early prevention of crime, the formation of a safe environment in mahallas, and the effective provision of public safety, the Law Enforcement Academy organized field training sessions in 136 mahallas of the Yashnabad, Shaykhantakhur, and Bektemir districts of Tashkent, which are attached to the Academy.
Training sessions were conducted for 10 weeks by professors and teachers of the Academy, as well as scientists and specialists from other higher educational institutions and responsible organizations.
The classes were organized based on a single program and covered such important areas as "Early Crime Prevention," "Social Prevention," "Combating Drug Crime," "Administrative and Jurisdictional Activity," "Practical Psychology," "Problem Sociology," "Digital Literacy," "Formation of Cyberculture," and "Organization of Clerical Work."
During the training process, special attention was paid to the early prevention of offenses, the introduction of modern mechanisms for working with the population, increasing the effectiveness of social prevention, and strengthening practical skills in ensuring public safety. Practical cases, interactive methods, and exercises based on real-life situations were widely used in the sessions.
As part of the special training courses, a total of 738 mahalla chairpersons, assistant khokims, women's activists, youth leaders, and prevention inspectors underwent professional development. At the end of the course, all trainees successfully passed the final exams and received certificates.
These training courses will contribute to the early prevention of offenses in mahallas, the targeted resolution of public problems, ensuring public safety, and further increasing the efficiency of the "mahalla seven."
