Criminal executive law: the interconnection between theory and practice


A roundtable discussion on the topic “Criminal executive law: the interconnection between theory and practice” was held at the Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the participation of representatives from the Supreme court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the General prosecutor’s office, the Supreme school of judges, the Ministry of internal affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affair’s Academy, the University of public security, and Tashkent state university of law.

The event addressed issues related to ensuring the rule of law in the execution of court-imposed punishments, as well as the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of convicted individuals during the serving of their sentences.

Participants exchanged views on specific existing challenges related to this topic.

During the roundtable, special emphasis was placed on the importance of training personnel in the field by ensuring a close interconnection between theory and practice.

The event also featured the presentation of the textbook “Criminal executive law” for university students, authored by senior lecturer of the academy and senior counselor of justice, M.M. Mirsalikhov.

The participants highlighted the significance of this textbook and congratulated the author, Mirzafar Mirsalikhov, on his 70th anniversary.
