Field-based training and practical sessions for the officers of the prosecutor’s office and law enforcement agencies of the Jizzakh region


A working group led by the first deputy head of the Academy, E.V. Kolenko, conducted another round of field-based training and practical sessions in the Jizzakh region. These sessions focused on issues related to crime prevention, combating cybercrime, addressing petty corruption, and enhancing the effectiveness of legislative enforcement in the field of energy efficiency.

The events were organized at the Jizzakh Regional Prosecutor’s Office in a mixed format, involving the participation of senior officials and staff from prosecutor’s offices responsible for these areas, district prosecutors, their deputies and assistants, as well as investigators from the regional and district-level prosecutor’s offices and law enforcement agencies.

As part of the session on the topic: The state of crime committed using information technologies: existing problems and improving the effectiveness of solving and investigating such crimes, participants were provided with explanations regarding the types of forensic examinations that can be conducted during cybercrime investigations. They were also introduced to the capabilities of the Academy’s Research institute of digital forensics and received recommendations on the effective use of the Academy’s methodological guide “Investigator’s notebook for the investigation of crimes in the field of information technologies.

The next training and practical session was dedicated to the topic: “Creating a safe environment in mahallas and enhancing the effectiveness of the early offense prevention system”, during this session, shortcomings in the implementation of daily and planned preventive measures were examined, practical examples for addressing these issues and organizing work efficiently were provided, and specific proposals were made to improve the quality of investigative activities.

The training continued with the topic: “Corruption prevention, including the eradication of petty corruption”, during this part, participants were presented with a detailed report on crimes related to petty and administrative corruption occurring in everyday life, as well as on the implementation of daily monitoring activities aimed at their prevention.

During the session on the topic: “Prosecutorial oversight of the enforcement of legislation in the field of use and consumption of energy resources”, participants were informed about the regulatory documents and sectoral orders governing oversight of compliance with legislation in the use of energy resources, as well as issues requiring special attention during control activities.

The Academy will continue conducting field-based training and practical sessions in the regions.
