Admission process for the 2025/2026 academic year to the Master’s programs of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan is underway

The admission process for the 2025/2026 academic year is currently ongoing at the Academy of Law Enforcement of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the following master’s degree programs: “Prosecutorial Activities” (daytime, evening, and distance learning formats), “Combating Corruption,” “International Law on Human Rights,” and “Legal Support for Cybersecurity.”

Applications must be submitted by July 31 of this year through the uzbmb.uz electronic platform of the Agency for Knowledge and Skills Assessment under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For the new academic year, a total of 65 admission slots have been allocated for the full-time format, 10 for the evening format, and 35 for the distance learning format of these master’s degree programs.

According to the Presidential Decree No. PD-76 dated May 5, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Improve the Quality of Education and the System of Educational Services”, the part-time (correspondence) format of the “Prosecutorial Activities” master's program has been discontinued from the 2025/2026 academic year, and training will be conducted in a distance learning format instead.

Starting from this academic year, a new and relevant master’s program titled “Legal Support for Cybersecurity” with a one-year study duration has been introduced at the Academy.

Applicants for the “Legal Support for Cybersecurity” master’s program will be admitted on a competitive basis from the following categories:

- External candidates with a basic higher legal education (bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence);

– Internal candidates — employees of the Prosecutor’s Office with a basic higher legal education (bachelor’s in Jurisprudence), including those in the personnel reserve, as well as individuals with a higher education in other specialties but with at least 5 years of work experience in the Prosecutor’s Office;

– Employees of authorized government agencies with a basic higher legal education (bachelor’s in Jurisprudence).

Applicants who possess an internationally recognized IT certificate approved by the Ministry of Digital Technologies are exempt from taking the “Informatics and Information Technology” exam and are awarded the maximum score for that subject. (The list of valid international IT certificates is published on the official website of the Academy.)

Candidates admitted to the daytime format of the “Legal Support for Cybersecurity” program will retain their current salaries (remuneration fund) according to the position held before admission.

Additionally, employees of authorized government agencies who have a bachelor's degree in Jurisprudence but do not have a valid national or international certificate proving their foreign language proficiency will be evaluated based on the results of the foreign language test conducted by the Agency for Knowledge and Skills Assessment.

In this regard, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, within the approved admission quotas, employees of authorized government agencies may participate in the competitive admission to the following master’s programs of the Academy:

“Prosecutorial Activities” (distance learning format);
“Legal Support for Cybersecurity.”

All competitive entrance exams for the master’s programs will be held in August, with detailed announcements published on the Academy’s official website and social media pages.
