A lecture was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Mark Dixon, a leading British expert in the field of criminal justice. The event was held with the support of the British Embassy in Tashkent and the International Center for Development and Justice.
M. Dixon delivered a lecture for the Academy's students on the topic "The PEACE Model for Interrogation within the Framework of Criminal Investigation and Related International Standards." The report provided a detailed explanation of the purpose, structure, and stages of the PEACE model used in interrogation in Great Britain, its compliance with international standards, and exchanged views on the implementation of advanced interrogation methods.
As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting was also held with the head of the International Center for Development and Justice, Azamat Shambilov. At the meeting, the guests were informed about the main directions of the Academy's activities, modern educational infrastructure, scientific and analytical activities, and prospects for mutual cooperation were discussed.
