A meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy with a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Head of the Investigation Department R.A. Ashrapov and Deputy Minister Z.K. Kurbanov.
During the meeting, participants discussed improving the system of professional training, retraining, and advanced qualification of inquiry officers and investigators in line with modern requirements. In particular, special attention was paid to strengthening professional competencies through the broader introduction of advanced pedagogical approaches, digital technologies, and interactive learning formats into the educational process.
As noted, consistent efforts in this direction will contribute to ensuring the quality of investigations, increasing the effectiveness of working with evidence, and widely introducing modern investigative methods into practice.
At the same time, certain existing challenges in inquiry and preliminary investigation processes were analyzed, and priority areas were identified to address them, enhance operational efficiency, and provide scientific and methodological support to investigative practice.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that enhancing investigators’ capacity, ensuring the quality of investigations, and further strengthening effective cooperation in the field remain among the key priorities.
