The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 703rd position in the 2024 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, a globally recognized system that evaluates universities' sustainability performance.
The 15th edition of the UI GreenMetric Rankings assessed 1 477 institutions from 95 countries, reflecting efforts aimed at addressing global challenges through sustainable development. The rankings evaluate universities based on six key criteria, emphasizing practical measures to combat climate change, conserve resources, and promote sustainable development. This system aims to inspire university leaders and stakeholders to adopt effective environmental strategies and create sustainable campuses worldwide.
This year marks the Academy’s first participation in the rankings. With a total score of 5 980, the Academy received special recognition for its achievements in the Energy and Climate Change category. Its initiatives in sustainability education, clean energy, water conservation, waste recycling, and green transportation demonstrate its commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future.
