On 14 August 2025, the authority of the Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with a delegation from the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Deputy Minister I. M. Sydygaliev.
During the meeting, the delegation was acquainted with the Republic of Uzbekistan’s advanced experience in legal regulation and the use of digital evidence in criminal proceedings, as well as with the activities of the Law enforcement academy in training specialists in the investigation of crimes in the field of information technology.
Particular attention was given to modern approaches to the use of digital technologies in law enforcement activities, the regulatory framework governing the use of digital evidence, and the practical aspects of implementing innovative solutions in criminal procedure. The parties also discussed issues of international cooperation in the digitalization of law enforcement agencies.
The meeting demonstrated the mutual interest of both sides in developing bilateral cooperation in the field of law enforcement and exchanging best practices in the application of modern technologies in legal practice. The representatives of the delegation highly praised the level of development of digital technologies in Uzbekistan’s law enforcement system and expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
