The academic decade and student festival were solemnly launched.

On the occasion of the third anniversary of the creation of the Law Enforcement Academy, the academic decade was solemnly launched. Within the framework of the Decade program, the student festival, held under the motto "Rise with Knowledge, Student!," began its work with the solemn oath-taking ceremony of 1st-year students "Promise to the Motherland."

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office and partner organizations, the leadership of the Academy, students, and their parents. During the event, students admitted to the Academy with high scores, who took a worthy place in international olympiads and competitions, as well as winners of the "TED TALKS" motivational speech competition, were awarded commemorative gifts.

It was noted that systematic work is being carried out at the Academy to increase the scientific potential and develop the intellectual and creative abilities of students. The oath-taking ceremony is one of the important educational events in this direction and is aimed at educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, selflessness, and devotion to the rule of law.

The event continued in a festive atmosphere with a musical program performed by a military orchestra.

The program of the academic decade, organized in connection with the third anniversary of the creation of the Law Enforcement Academy, includes: the international scientific and practical conference "Ensuring the Rule of Law in the Context of Modern Challenges: Problems and Solutions"; Training on counter-terrorism using open sources, organized in cooperation with the EU-ACT project; These include a practical training course "Fundamentals of Combating Cybercrime and Digital Forensics" for employees of the prosecutor's offices and internal affairs bodies of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan; an OSCE seminar on gender aspects in the fight against corruption; as well as a practical seminar with the UNODC on detecting and investigating fraud and money laundering using drop-schemes.

The final event of the professional bloc will be the UN Model in the format of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption. Students of law departments of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and the countries of Central Asia will take part in it.

Along with professional programs, a number of educational events are organized for young people and the general public. Among them are today's event "Promise to the Motherland," Open Doors Day, the exhibition "Opportunities of Digital Forensics," the intellectual game "Zakovat," the competition "Expert in Foreign Languages," debates on the topic "Protection of the Rights of Persons under Criminal Prosecution," as well as the International Student Conference.

The Academic Decade will serve to strengthen the scientific and educational potential of the Academy, introduce modern approaches to personnel training, expand international cooperation, and enhance the legal culture of young people. At the same time, it also provides for ensuring the openness and transparency of the Academy's activities, increasing its accountability to the public, and summarizing the results of the work done.

The anniversary week vividly demonstrates the dynamic development of the Academy and its aspiration to train highly qualified specialists capable of adequately responding to modern challenges.
