Anti-corruption event at the Uzbekistan institute of standards

A seminar titled “Corruption – the enemy of development” was held with the participation of employees of the Uzbekistan institute of standards under the Uzbekistan agency for technical regulation.

Representatives from the Academy’s scientific-educational center for combating corruption, as well as officials from the anti-corruption agency, took part in the event and delivered presentations.

Experts informed the participants about the harmful consequences of corruption in various spheres of public life, as well as national and advanced foreign practices in combating corruption.

During the event, which was conducted mainly in a discussion format, participants had the opportunity to receive comprehensive answers to the questions they were interested in regarding ways to resist corruption.
