Constitution day: a dialogue on human rights and the development of the New Uzbekistan

Staff members of the Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in an event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, titled “The New Uzbekistan and human rights”, held at the Tashkent university of applied sciences.

The participants were presented with the key role of human rights in the development strategy of the New Uzbekistan. Speakers highlighted the significance of reforms aimed at strengthening constitutional guarantees, developing democratic institutions, and enhancing the legal culture of society.

During the discussions, national mechanisms for the protection of human rights and initiatives focused on shaping the legal awareness of young people were examined. Proposals were voiced on improving state policy in this area.

The event served as an important platform for broadening students’ legal outlook and strengthening respect for constitutional values.
