Systematic efforts aimed at improving the quality of education, supporting scientific research, and providing the educational process with modern legal resources are being consistently continued at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of the next stage of these efforts, the Academy’s library collection has been enriched with new textbooks, teaching manuals, and scholarly publications.
The new literature broadly covers fundamental, specialized, and practical areas of legal studies. The library collection has been enriched with publications on the theory and history of state and law, migration and environmental law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, prosecutorial supervision, as well as research methodology.
Literature devoted to modern methods of detecting and investigating crimes holds a special place. It covers the psychological aspects of preliminary investigation, the possibilities of using information obtained from open sources (OSINT), as well as issues related to introducing new analytical tools into law enforcement activities.
The thematic scope of these publications is closely linked to the educational programs implemented at the Academy, its areas of scientific research, and the current needs of law enforcement practice. They serve to deepen the theoretical knowledge of students and master’s students, improve the effectiveness of independent learning and practical training, and provide researchers with new sources for their scientific studies.
The targeted development and regular updating of the library collection is one of the important areas for strengthening the integration of education, science, and practice at the Academy. The systematic work in this area is aimed at developing the Academy’s modern information and educational environment and creating a strong resource base for quality legal education and research of practical significance.
