As part of the practical visit to the United Kingdom by the delegation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law Enforcement Academy, Academy representatives met with representatives of the University of East London and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Discussions with the University of East London covered personnel training for law enforcement agencies, improvement of educational programmes, development of digital education, and enhancement of the professional capacity of academic staff. Proposals were also discussed regarding practical scenario-based training sessions, the organization of seminars and training courses, and the development of short-term online modules.

During the meeting with representatives of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the delegation was briefed on the institution’s educational and research activities. The discussion focused on academic exchange and opportunities for future cooperation.

The visit programme combined familiarization with British prosecutorial and judicial practice, including the witness support system, with discussions on approaches to specialist training at higher education institutions. This made it possible to explore opportunities for cooperation with London universities in connection with the practical tasks of law enforcement.
