JOINT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Description of the joint educational program:
The joint educational program is implemented between Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno under the Bachelor's degree program 6-05-0421-01 “Law” (Jurisprudence) and the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the Bachelor's degree program 60420100 – Jurisprudence (Prosecutorial Activity).

Duration of studies: 4 years (2+2)

At Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno: 2 years (Semesters 1–4);

At the Law Enforcement Academy: 2 years (Semesters 5–8).

Mode of study: Full-time.

Admission quota: 30 places;

Fee-paying basis (contract): 30 places.

Language of instruction: Russian.

Distance learning: Not available.

Evening classes: Not available.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR JOINT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Submission of documents

Required documents:

Copy of the applicant’s passport or ID card;

Certificate issued by an authorized healthcare institution confirming the absence of HIV infection;

Six (6) photographs sized 3×4 cm;

Documents prepared in Uzbek must be accompanied by a notarized Russian translation submitted simultaneously;

Additional documents may be requested if necessary.

Application period: From 3 August to 3 September.

Admission selection process

Stage one

The entrance examination is conducted in the form of an oral interview by representatives of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno;

Applicants who score at least 30% of the maximum possible score in the interview are eligible to participate in the second stage;

The interview will be held at the premises of the Academy;

Applicants must present their passport or ID card when attending the interview;

Applicants arriving after the scheduled time will not be permitted to participate in the interview. No additional interview will be arranged for those who fail to attend.

Interview date: 16 September, 11:00 a.m.

Stage two

An entrance examination in the Russian language (test-based examination) is conducted by the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The test consists of 30 questions;

Each correct answer is awarded 1 point;

The maximum possible score is 30 points;

Applicants who score at least 30% of the maximum score in the Russian language test are eligible to participate in the admission competition and may be admitted according to the established admission quota;

Applicants holding a national Russian language certificate at the B1 level are exempt from the second-stage examination and are awarded the maximum score;

The test examination will be conducted at the premises of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications;

Applicants must present their passport or ID card when attending the examination;

Applicants arriving after the scheduled time will not be admitted to the test examination. No additional testing will be organized for those who fail to attend.

Examination date: 18 September, 09:00 a.m.

Announcement of results

Results announcement: 20 September

Commencement of classes: 3 October

Tuition fees

Tuition fee (contract amount): USD 2,900

Payment deadline: 31 October
