Students of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the III International Scientific-Practical Conference organized by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus on the topic "Investigative Activity: science, education, practice".
The conference was organized to discuss the development trends of crime and criminal procedure law, criminalistic provision of preliminary investigation, forensic expertise in the process of criminal cases before the trial, and improvement of investigative activities.
In addition to Uzbekistan, the representatives of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Tajikistan, as well as practitioners and representatives of the relevant higher education institutions took part in the conference to discuss the current issues of investigative activity.
In the lectures and discussions of the plenary meeting and the scientific sections, today's actual issues of investigative activity were discussed and their in-depth analysis was carried out. International experience in the prevention and effective investigation of crimes committed in the digital sphere was also reviewed.
Within the framework of the event, the audience of the Academy also had a working practical visit to the Institute of Qualification and Retraining of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus. During the visit, the representatives of the Academy got acquainted with the activity, structural structure, tasks of this institution, the training of investigators, in particular the process of their qualification and retraining, specially equipped classrooms and literature, modern technologies related to investigation, international scientific experience in the field of investigation and criminalistics, and shared new developments.
