The Academy held another training seminar

On November 1-3, 2023 The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime held a training seminar on the topic: "Treatment of children returned from war zones using approaches that take into account age characteristics and traumatic experience".

This event was attended by 20 participants from among the employees of the investigative bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the training seminar, the issues of interaction and provision of psychosocial support to children from families who have returned from war zones, who have experienced a difficult period in their lives, as well as children and adolescents who have experienced violence as a result of falling into difficult life situations and who have witnessed the facts of violence and victims of crimes were highlighted.

Participants acquired knowledge and practical skills in psychological support of a child who has somehow become a victim of a crime, step-by-step following the basic rules for establishing interaction with a child and the basics of effective communication with children.
