Training course on human rights protection

In cooperation with the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights at the Law Enforcement Academy, a short-term training course on the topic "International standards of observance and protection of human rights: practice and reporting" for specialists of state bodies and organizations participating in the fulfillment of the international obligations of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of human rights was conducted.

The event was opened by the deputy head of the Academy, M. Mamasiddikov, with an introduction, and the significance and relevance of the organized course was emphasized.

The head of the department H.Karimov introduced the participants to the essence of the convention against torture and harsh, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and punishment, the head of the department A.Khikmatov "National preventive mechanisms for the prevention of torture: international experience and national practice ” and the head of the center L. Isakov introduced the participants to the international experience and national practice in ensuring the rights of migrants.

At the end of the event, the participants received detailed answers to their questions.
