On the path to ensuring openness and transparency in the activities of the Academy

The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducts its activities based on the principles of openness and transparency, continuously strengthening ties with the mass media and the general public. The Academy has a Public Relations Department, and information about the Academy's activities is regularly published on the official website of the Academy Proacademy.uz, as well as on news channels and pages on social networks and messengers with a large subscription base.

Productive cooperation is established with relevant organizations and institutions, particularly with the Information and Mass Communications Agency, which coordinates the activities of press services and provides methodological support to their work.

On January 12, 2024, the Information and Mass Communications Agency organized another seminar for the heads of press services of state bodies and organizations on the topic: "Communication in Crisis Situations," featuring Jonathan Charles, a communication consultant from Suma Chakrabarti, an advisor to the President of Uzbekistan.

During the seminar, issues related to planning, developing concepts, goals, and tasks of crisis communication were discussed. Using specific examples, the most important aspects of the press secretary's work in crisis situations were examined.

The event took place in an interactive format, with work organized in groups. During the seminar, press service employees developed a strategy for specific actions in a given crisis communication case.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were presented to the heads of press services that successfully passed the certification at the Information and Mass Communications Agency.
