The next dissertation defense took place

During the regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the defense of the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in legal sciences of the independent applicant of the Academy R.H.Rakhimov on the topic took place: "Theoretical and practical problems of conducting a financial investigation on the legalization of proceeds from criminal activity" in the specialty "12.00.09 – Criminal procedure. Criminalistics, operational investigative law and forensic examination".

Within the framework of the study, the role of parallel financial investigation on the legalization of proceeds from crime in the activities of law enforcement agencies was studied and analyzed, a draft bill on the introduction of parallel financial investigation standards into criminal procedure legislation as a separate institution was prepared, best practices in conducting parallel financial investigations of foreign countries were studied and proposals were put forward to improve national legislation and law enforcement practice.

According to the results of the dissertation defense, the members of the Scientific Council recommended the applicant for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in legal sciences (PhD).
