On the way to methodological support of crime prevention

Employees of the Center for Scientific and Applied Research on Law Enforcement Issues of the Law Enforcement Academy organized a meeting with officials of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Fergana region in the building of the Prosecutor's Office of the Fergana region within the framework of activities to study the criminogenic situation and the prevention of offenses in the regions.

During the meeting, reports of responsible persons of the regional department of Internal Affairs on measures taken to combat crime were listened to, problems in crime prevention activities were considered, as well as issues of professional development of employees of internal affairs bodies.

As a result of the meeting, further measures were identified to study the criminogenic situation, priority steps, including the identification of so-called crime hotbeds and targeted activities of the working group on crime prevention.
