Another master class on human rights

The Academy held a two-day master class for undergraduate students in the specialty "Investigative activity" on the topic: "The role and significance of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman)".

The binary lesson is organized within the framework of the module "National human Rights system". During the lesson, lectures were given by specialists of the secretariat of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Ombudsman).

The students were interested in information about the structure, goals and objectives of the Ombudsman. Students are also provided with information on Uzbekistan's compliance with international human rights obligations and mechanisms for implementing the recommendations of the UN charter and treaty bodies.

At the end of the lesson, the students received answers to their questions.
