Participation in an international conference on countering cybercrime

 

Representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the international scientific and practical conference on the topic: "Countering crimes using digital assets," organized by the Institute of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.

The event was aimed at bringing together leading experts and practitioners from Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Kazakhstan specializing in countering crimes related to digital assets.

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Gora, representatives of law enforcement agencies from various countries, specialists in financial monitoring, as well as scientists and experts researching this issue. Participants discussed the problems of international cooperation, the need for coordinated approaches to regulating digital assets, exchanging experience in investigating cybercrimes, and mechanisms for operational interaction between relevant authorities of different states.

As a result of the conference, participants were able to exchange valuable practical experience in investigating crimes related to digital assets. Special attention was paid to the implementation of advanced methods of OSINT, digital forensics, and tax control in combating crime in this sphere. The need to improve the legal framework for regulating the circulation of digital assets and strengthening international cooperation in this field was emphasized.
