A representative of the Law Enforcement Academy participated in a regional training on criminal statistics related to gender issues. The event was organized by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in cooperation with the UN Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific and held in Japan.
International experts and participants from 12 countries, including representatives from national statistical offices and other state bodies responsible for compiling data related to the 5th and 16th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), attended the event.
The training provided participants with the opportunity to enhance their capacity to compile indicators on gender and crime-related SDGs at the national, regional, and international levels using data and microdata, exchange experiences, and strengthen collaboration.
