Scientific-Practical Conference on "Rule of Law – Inevitable Punishment"

 

A scientific-practical conference on the topic "Rule of Law – Inevitable Punishment" was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy.

The conference was held based on the goals and tasks outlined in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022–2026, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by professors and teachers of the Academy, independent researchers, doctoral students, as well as representatives from the Public Safety University, the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Council of Judges, the National Center for Human Rights, Tashkent State University of Law, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State and Legal History Institute of the Academy of Sciences.

At the conference, the Deputy Head of the Academy, M. Mamasiddikov, initially discussed the priority tasks of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the rule of law as outlined in the Development Strategy and emphasized the important role of higher education and research institutions in this process. He highlighted the urgency of making the principle "Rule of Law – Inevitable Punishment" a core standard in the country today.

Additionally, conference participants shared their views on the need for coordination between state and public oversight in combating and preventing crime by law enforcement agencies, as well as ensuring the inevitability of punishment in upholding the rule of law.

At the end of the event, conference participants and members of the public had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive answers from specialists.
