A festive event dedicated to Teacher and Mentor Day was organized at the Academy

 

An event dedicated to October 1st – Teacher and Mentor Day – took place at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the leadership of the Public Center for Social Support of Veterans of the Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan, professors, teachers, staff of the Academy, students, and media representatives.

The Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Azamatovich Aminov, opened the festive event by reading out the Prosecutor General’s holiday congratulations to teachers and mentors.

In the congratulatory speech, the achievements of the Law Enforcement Academy, which was established almost two years ago within the framework of the Prosecutor General's Academy, were recognized for the successes achieved in a short period.

In particular, in 2024, according to the results of a survey conducted among the general public, the Academy took first place in the "Best Educational Institutions of the Year – 2024" competition.

Across the country this year, on average, 4.3 candidates competed for one spot in bachelor's degree programs and 1.4 candidates for master's programs in higher education institutions. However, at the Academy, 20 candidates competed for one spot in the bachelor's program and 61 candidates for one spot in the master's program.

Currently, nearly 1,200 students are studying at the Academy. Additionally, more than 2,300 staff members have completed professional development training.

From this academic year, the second higher education program in the “Prosecutorial Activity” field, as well as evening classes for the master’s degree program in the “Prosecutorial Activity” specialty, have been launched.

Following this, the First Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Academy, Evgeniy Vyacheslavovich Kolenko, took the floor and sincerely congratulated the Academy team, all the teachers, and veterans on the holiday. He wished the Academy team dedication and success in organizing educational processes based on the best practices and practical experience, and in preparing highly qualified personnel capable of excellently fulfilling their professional duties.

A ceremony to award a group of employees recognized by the leadership of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Academy added a special charm to the festive event.

During the event, students of the Academy congratulated their teachers with artistic performances.
