Presentation of the Guide on the Principles of Administrative Procedures

 

A presentation of the guide on specific principles of administrative procedures, prepared by a team of authors consisting of national and Japanese experts, took place.

The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Justice of Japan, Nagoya University of Economics, and more than 20 state institutions of Uzbekistan.

In preparing the guide, a team of national experts consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court, the Law Enforcement Academy, and Tashkent State University of Law participated.

This joint publication is the result of the first phase of work to prepare a scientific and practical commentary on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Administrative Procedures."

The guide provides explanations of six distinct principles, including "legality," "proportionality," "the availability of a hearing opportunity," "equality of rights," "protection of trust," and "the legality of administrative discretion."

Additionally, the guide elaborates on key concepts, includes examples from the legal practice of Uzbekistan and Japan, and offers recommendations on the application of the main principles of administrative procedures.

The guide is intended for employees in the field of administrative-legal activity, researchers, students, and the general public. Written in clear language, it is designed for use by a wide audience.
