Event dedicated to Defenders of the Motherland day

An event was held at the Academy under the slogan, “The New Uzbekistan Army – the Pillar of the Country, the Pride of Our People!” to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 – Defenders of the Motherland Day. The event aimed to instill military-patriotic values in students, foster a sense of love for the Motherland, enhance their connection to the extensive processes being carried out in various fields, including defense and security, strengthen their knowledge and skills, and prepare them for their future service careers.

The event featured the participation of General-Colonel Qobul Raimovich Berdiev, a Doctor of Philosophy in Military Sciences and a professor who has rendered invaluable service in the Armed Forces system of the Republic of Uzbekistan for many years. He has also held key positions such as Minister of Emergency Situations and Minister of Defense, significantly contributing to the development of defense and security sectors during the country's independence.

During the meeting, General-Colonel Qobul Raimovich, as a direct participant in these processes and an individual with extensive professional and life experience, spoke about the history of the formation of Uzbekistan's national army and the large-scale reforms implemented under the consistent leadership of our esteemed President, who is also the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Additionally, the honored guest shared his personal experiences and reflections from his service career, offering valuable advice to young people on serving our beloved Motherland, noble people, and President with loyalty and dedication. He also addressed their questions and shared his thoughts and opinions on matters of interest to them.

We believe that such meetings contribute to fostering pride in our national army and professional fields among our students, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and loyalty.
