A team consisting of students and instructors from the Academy successfully participated in the regional qualification round of the "Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition", organized by the International Law Students Association (ILSA) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The team achieved an honorable third place and was awarded the "Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition Uzbekistan National Rounds Third Runner-up Team" prize.
In the national qualification round, teams represented their respective universities and were evaluated based on their written memorials and oral pleadings. Participants analyzed and resolved complex international law issues, including human rights, territorial disputes, armed conflicts, and international humanitarian law.
The competition is designed to enhance participants’ legal analysis, argumentation, and public speaking skills. Additionally, taking part in the Phillip C. Jessup Competition provides law students with a valuable opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of complex international legal matters, refine their advocacy skills, and establish connections with global experts and peers.
