Work continues in the regions to study the criminogenic situation based on scientific approaches

Methodological and consultative support for activities aimed at crime prevention and combating crime is one of the key areas of focus for the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this regard, the Academy is carrying out systematic work, including field visits to various regions.

To ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. RP–1, dated January 3, 2025, “On measures to create a safe environment and further improve the effectiveness of the early crime prevention system in the mahallas of the Republic in 2025” a team of Law Enforcement Academy staff, together with an expert from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), conducted a field visit to the Jizzakh region.

Through direct field visits, Academy staff, together with the Japanese specialist, conducted a scientific study of the criminogenic situation in each mahalla. They worked to identify the causes and conditions contributing to criminal activity.

Given the relevance of the issue, special attention was paid to studying matters related to road safety in the region.
