A meeting with the head of the UNESCO office in Uzbekistan

A meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation headed by the head of the UNESCO office in Uzbekistan, S. Noshadi.

During the meeting, topics were discussed regarding the integration of international standards on freedom of speech, access to information, and the protection of journalists into the Academy’s educational programs for prosecution staff, the organization of regional training courses on these topics in other regions, as well as the development of recommendations for prosecutors on interacting with the media, were also considered.

In their dialogue, the parties outlined the next plans and steps within the framework of the joint project being implemented.
