To enhance the effectiveness of achieving common goals and objectives in the areas of combating corruption and judicial-legal matters, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed on April 9 of the current year between the Law Enforcement Academy and the Committee for combating corruption and judicial-legal affairs of the Legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
The main objective of the memorandum is to improve legislation on combating corruption and judicial-legal matters, expand the involvement of scholars and experts in the lawmaking process, conduct systemic analysis, develop scientifically grounded proposals, and foster an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society.
In accordance with the Memorandum, the Academy and the Committee will jointly develop scientifically grounded proposals for improving legislation in the field of combating corruption and judicial-legal matters, conduct analytical activities to identify corrupt practices, eliminate the causes and conditions of corruption offenses, carry out scientific and practical research, implement the results of applied research into legislation, foster legal immunity to corruption in society, instill values of honesty and integrity in the younger generation, and organize student participation in the lawmaking process.
Alongside the formal signing ceremony of the memorandum, the deputies of the Committee were given a detailed overview of the activities and capabilities of the Academy.
