As part of the traditional “Student spring” festival, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan continues to host events aimed at promoting national values, spiritual heritage, and cultural traditions.
Within the framework of the festival, a recitation contest was held in honor of the birthday of Abdulla Qodiriy – an outstanding Uzbek writer, poet, translator, playwright, one of the most prominent figures in 20th-century Uzbek literature, and the founder of the Uzbek novel.
The event was attended by renowned literary scholar, doctor of philological sciences, professor Sanobar Tulaganova, as well as the writer’s great-granddaughter, Makhzuna Qodiriy.
The contest aimed to foster students’ interest in reading, expand their literary knowledge and horizons, and instill respect and love for national literature and its roots.
At the end of the event, the winners were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.
