Issues related to creating a safe environment and further improving the effectiveness of the early warning system for offenses in mahallas were discussed


The leadership of the Law enforcement academy participated in an extended meeting dedicated to the study of the crime situation in mahallas by scientific and educational institutions of law enforcement agencies based on a scientific approach.

The event was held under the chairmanship of the prosecutor of Tashkent city, E. Yuldashev, and the head of the main department of Internal Affairs of the city, R. Sultonkhodjaev, with the participation of heads of educational institutions of law enforcement agencies. It took place within the framework of implementing Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № RP-1 dated January 3, 2025, “On measures to create a safe environment and further improve the effectiveness of the early crime prevention system in the mahallas of the Republic in 2025”.

At the meeting, the work being carried out to study the crime situation in the mahallas assigned to the Law enforcement academy including those in the Bektemir, Yashnobod, and Mirobod districts of the capital based on scientific approaches was discussed.

Special attention was given to the introduction of modern research methods, strengthening interdepartmental cooperation, and involving mahalla activists in the processes of enhancing public safety.

The conclusions and proposals of specialists formed the basis for the roadmaps planned for the second quarter of this year, aimed at creating a safe environment in the mahallas and further improving the effectiveness of the system for preventing offenses.
