A meeting was held at the Academy between representatives of the Academy's leadership and staff, and the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Children's Rights (Children's Ombudsperson) S. Rakhmonova, as well as representatives of the UNICEF office in Uzbekistan, S. Akhaeva and Sh. Ashrafkhanova.

The event was organized within the framework of strengthening cooperation between state institutions and international organizations in the area of child rights protection.

The main topics discussed included deepening cooperation in the field of child rights protection, improving national legislation in accordance with international standards, and developing a special educational course on children's rights.

This new course, launched in collaboration with UNICEF, is aimed at increasing awareness among specialists and youth about children's rights and developing practical skills for their implementation.

Participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of working together to create an effective system for ensuring children's rights. Proposals were put forward to integrate the educational course into the training of teachers, social workers, and law enforcement officers in order to ensure a comprehensive approach to child rights protection.
