The Law Enforcement Academy organized an international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Topical Issues of Legal Science and Law Enforcement Practice”.
The main goal of the conference was to present modern ideas and proposals in the field of legal sciences that possess scientific potential and creative approaches, as well as to discuss current trends and results of research conducted by our national scholars and young researchers in the priority areas of legal science.
Participants of the conference included professors and lecturers of the Academy, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Court, the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council, the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Law, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of Public Safety, the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Legal Personnel, independent researchers of the Law Enforcement Academy, PhD candidates, master’s degree students, and undergraduate students.
In addition to national speakers, scholars and researchers from the St. Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in the Republic of Belarus, and the Institute for Professional Training under the Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan also delivered presentations.
The conference featured discussions on the advantages of using modern information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence in the development of legal science, the role of studying advanced foreign experience in law enforcement practice, analysis of current legal gaps in theory and practice, as well as achievements and proposals to improve legislative acts. All of these contributed to the dynamic and engaging atmosphere of the conference.
Furthermore, young researchers who attended the conference had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions from leading experts in the field, and the event was conducted in the form of scientific debates and discussions.
At the conclusion of the international scientific-practical conference, participants agreed to pursue mutually beneficial cooperation in the development of all branches of legal science and in addressing law enforcement practice issues. They were also informed that they could submit their scientific articles and theses for inclusion in the conference proceedings to be published.
