Training on minimizing corruption risks in the criminal justice process

At the Law Enforcement Academy, within the framework of the project “Improving governance in Uzbekistan: inclusive prevention of corruption”, and with the support of the international NGO “Regional dialogue”, a practical training session was held on minimizing corruption risks in the criminal justice process.

The training was conducted by international experts in criminal law and anti-corruption: Quentin Reed, Goran Klemenčič, and Shayan Sharbatke, for the staff of the Academy’s Scientific and educational anti-corruption center, who were directly involved in the implementation of the project.

The event not only contributed to enhancing the qualifications of specialists but also served as a platform for experience sharing and maintaining professional connections.

The outcomes of the event laid a solid foundation for further cooperation in combating corruption and developing resilient law enforcement institutions.
