On June 3, 2025, a formal signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State University of Law was held at the Tashkent State University of Law.
This cooperation is aimed at ensuring the implementation of the priority tasks set out in the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD–17 dated January 22, 2025 – “On Measures to Introduce a System for Training Professional Personnel in the Field of Combating Crimes Committed Using Digital Technologies.”
The memorandum envisions the development of mutual cooperation in the effective fight against crimes committed using digital technologies, legal support for cybersecurity, and the training of highly qualified personnel in this field.
The event was attended by the heads of both institutions, professors and teachers, as well as experts working in the field. The parties agreed to launch practical activities in a number of priority areas, including:
Additionally, the event addressed the creation of opportunities for mutual use of information-resource centers, libraries, and laboratories.
The memorandum serves as an important step toward elevating scientific and practical cooperation between the institutions to a new level.
