International Conference at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Professional Dialogue on Challenges of the Digital Age

On June 19, 2025, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan launched an international scientific-practical conference on the theme: “Modern Challenges and Threats in Law Enforcement Activities in the Era of Digital Transformation”.

The conference brought together more than 100 foreign experts from over 30 countries — leading scholars, practicing specialists, and representatives of relevant institutions and organizations. The event paid special attention to an in-depth analysis of the rapid technological changes occurring in the sphere of law enforcement.

The conference program featured a plenary session and three main parallel sessions dedicated to the following topics:

• Science and Education in the Field of Law Enforcement: Modern Approaches and Challenges
• New Methods of Organizing Digital Forensic and Investigatory Activities
• Combating Corruption, Money Laundering, and the Financing of Terrorism in the Digital Age

As the organizer of the event, the Law Enforcement Academy reaffirmed its commitment to training highly qualified specialists capable of making prompt and effective decisions in line with contemporary demands. The establishment of a platform with the participation of international-level experts is a logical continuation of the Academy’s consistent efforts to develop its scientific potential, implement innovative educational approaches, and strengthen international cooperation.
