Participation of Academy Representatives in the Interagency Commission Meeting


At the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office, the next meeting of the Interagency Commission on Combating the Legalization of Criminal Proceeds, Financing of Terrorism, and Financing the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction was held.

The meeting was attended by representatives and officials from the Supreme Court, the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Customs Committee, the Central Bank, the National Agency for Perspective Projects, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Law Enforcement Academy, and other relevant agencies.

Alongside other items on the agenda, the meeting also addressed the issue of training participants of the national system for combating the legalization of criminal proceeds, the financing of terrorism, and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

A representative of the Academy noted that one of the main areas of the Academy’s activity is the professional development and retraining of employees from state bodies and other organizations based on specialized training programs in this field. The participants were informed about the work carried out and the available opportunities in this regard.

As a result of the Commission meeting, relevant decisions were adopted.
