The Academy’s staff conducted practical training on the topic “Issues of combating Cybercrime.”


A seminar on “Issues of combating Cybercrime” was held at the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs for deputy district prosecutors and law enforcement officers, with the participation of the Head of the Department for Ensuring the Rule of Law in the Field of Combating Cybercrime of the Prosecutor General’s Office, A. Gulomov; First Deputy Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, N. I. Khaydarov; and employees of the Scientific Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy.

As part of the event, investigators and deputy prosecutors were provided with practical information on current issues related to the detection and investigation of cybercrimes, methods for the effective use of modern digital technologies, and special technical tools.

During the seminar, the collected evidence and current issues were analyzed, and measures to strengthen control in this area were discussed.

The practical training sessions conducted by the Law Enforcement Academy for investigative bodies in the regions will continue on a regular basis in the future.
