The Secretariat of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network in West and Central Asian States (ARIN-WCA) and representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Central Asia held a meeting.
The meeting focused on planned capacity-building activities for staff working in the field of asset recovery.
The parties paid particular attention to implementing professional training programmes, strengthening international cooperation, and developing effective mechanisms for information exchange among countries.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to develop a set of measures to enhance the qualifications of Network participants and to conduct regular training sessions to improve the necessary skills of staff.
