An off-site training and practical session on combating cybercrime was held

The Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Department for Ensuring Legality in Combating Cybercrime of the General Prosecutor’s Office, organized a training and practical seminar in the Jizzakh region on the topic: “Issues of combating cybercrime”.

The seminar was attended by regional prosecutors, deputy district prosecutors, investigators, as well as operational officers of regional and territorial divisions of internal affairs.

During the event, systemic problems arising in the detection and investigation of cybercrimes were thoroughly discussed, and recommendations were prepared for their prevention and elimination in the future. Special attention was given to the collection and analysis of digital evidence, as well as to strengthening control in this area.

The Law Enforcement Academy intends to continue holding practical training sessions for investigative units of law enforcement agencies in the regions.
