The Law Enforcement Academy continues systematic efforts to study the criminogenic situation in neighborhoods on the basis of scientific approaches.
The next monitoring was conducted in the Tong Yulduzi neighborhood of the Mirabad district, where special attention was paid to the timely detection of offenses and crimes, as well as their prevention.
In cooperation with the leadership of the Mirabad district Department of Internal Affairs and other responsible officials, an analysis was carried out of crimes committed during 2021–2024 and in the elapsed period of 2025. The causes of offenses, measures for their prevention, and processes of working with individuals under preventive supervision were reviewed.
Based on the results of the monitoring, proposals and recommendations were made to improve the criminogenic situation, increase the effectiveness of preventive work, and establish a unified control system to ensure public safety in the neighborhood.
It should be noted that the working group of the Academy, within the framework of implementing the tasks set out in Presidential Decree No. PQ–1 of January 3, 2025, “On measures to create a safe environment in neighborhoods and further improve the effectiveness of the early prevention system of offenses” and Presidential Decree No. PQ–253 of August 18, 2025, “On amendments and additions to certain decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further increasing the effectiveness of the system for the early prevention of crime in neighborhoods”, is regularly conducting field studies.
